jPickem was designed for NFL -- however it *could* do any schedule-based sport that is about the same size as the NFL in terms of weekly match-ups.   The reason this wouldn't work for baseball or basketball is

a.) We don't think people would want to make that many picks (there are too many games in a season)

and

b.) jPickem wouldn't be able to display the data very well.

Each pick period (week) the games are summarized in the Standings page.   This standings page was designed to handle about 16 match-ups at a time.  It could go a few more, but doubling that would look like heck.   We've tried jPickem with rugby, NFL, NCAA and high school football and as long as you keep the match-ups per week to 18 or under, it works just fine.  (Rugby didn't work all that well because they wanted too many rule changes in point scoring, so our official position is that jPickem is only for American Football -- sorry rest of the world)

Here's what the Game Results Grid looks like... a typical 16 game week
