No Longer Seeking Webmasters

This was our first year releasing Leauge/jPickem as an open source project.   We would have done it sooner, but the development cycle for a 20 week season makes for a longer trek to market.    While jPickem will be released as a commercial open source product, it's not GPL, meaning should you obtain a copy, you are not permitted to release it to others or use it on more than one domain at a time.    With that said, let's get back on-topic...

We were looking for certain types of Joomla webmasters to help us fine-tune the product.   In exchange for your help, we'll give you a copy of the component and help you get things rolling for your group.   All we ask is that you provide feedback to us during the month of August so we can get everything ready by the start of the season.

If you're interested, REGISTER FIRST then drop us a note to intro yourself along with the domain name where you plan to run your pickem pool.

Not A Very Creative Template Choice...

If you're a Joomla webmaster, then you recognize this template as it's the default with v1.5.  We've intentionally used this one so you immediately would recognize this as a Joomla site -- because jPickem is a Joomla component.    One important point:  Jpickem currently is Joomla 1.0.15 compatible.    We will get it to run in 1.5 legacy mode this year.    If all goes well, we'll have a 1.5 version ready next season.

If you're not a Joomla webmaster, it's ok.  Don't run off yet.   If you're part of an organization that wants to generate leads, revenue or just some community spirit, then jPickem may still be an excellent fit.   Read the non-technical benefits for more info.
