Transaction Manager

One thing I would like to be able to disable is the player transactions. Ours is a free league and I don't get what that could possibly be used for. It's not like fantasy football or anything, or am I missing something?

Answer

Correct, this has nothing to do with fantasy football. In this case, a transaction is something between the group leader and the members of that group. For example, some pools collect money from their players as an admin fee, then each week they award something back to the player(s) who place 1st.

The Transaction Manager (TM) is something that is available only to the group leader. The rest of the members only see what the group leader has entered. In addition, there are two columns in the My Group screen with headers of IN and OUT. If someone should give you $10, you could use the TM to show 10 in the IN column. If you decide to pay $1 per week, and that same person won, you could record 1 as payment which would show as a 1 in the OUT column.

The TM is fully optional. If your group is free and you don't keep track of anything coming in or going out, then just ignore this.

There currently is no way to turn this off, however if there's no data there, all your group members will see are some headers at the bottom of the screen. In a future version, we'll suppress those when there are no records to display.
